An application that enables customers of Arbetsförmedlingen who do not need our services to sign out their information and status.
TL;DR
Summary
Before this product there was no digital way of offboarding when you have got a job and no longer need Arbetsförmedlingens services. You had to call in and ask for it. Now, the customer could offboard through this application in three easy steps.
Outcome
Less calls, more cost savings and easier customer journey from start to finnish.

My Role
Using research and current wireframes, to continue the design process. I did user tests, workshops with the developers so that we were on the same page, create the final designs for the application.
Challenge
One of the biggest challenges was to understand the limitations within the organisation on what the application was able to do and what other systems we had to communicate with to make this whole product viable. On the surface, it sounds easy to create an application that deletes your account. On the other hand, it’s a government agency that you are unsubscribing from.
Approach
A lot of research, talking, workshopping, sketching, and oh god so many meetings. Persistence and curiosity is key to break through and help convince the organisation that this app needs to be prioritised to not only save money but to help people through an accessible digital service.
Result
The result is a simple service that from the beginning allowed people to unsubscribe or sign out their services if they had started studying or got a job. This was later expanded to also include people leaving for maternity leave. A simple three-step app with minimal effort for the user with clear instructions.
